We are excited to announce that one of our esteemed sponsors is looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager who can handle sales of all types. You will be responsible for generating sales and brand awareness for an exciting cruise portfolio which includes the long established brands Sydney Showboats and Magistic Cruises.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- B2B tourism sales incorporating both the domestic and international markets (excluding China, India, Korea and Online);
- Maximise sales through a distribution network within inbound tourism markets with the UK, Europe, USA, Japan, Canada and New Zealand markets;
- Proactively identify new business opportunities and convert to sales;
- Develop sales strategies to proactively achieve agreed business outcomes;
- Build and develop long term business relationships and maximise sales.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Right balance of sales experience and commercial acumen to source profitable business;
- Excellent presentation skills both written and verbal with a high level of negotiation skills;
- Ambitious personality and is passionate about delivering exceptional results;
- Exceptional business skills to be able to succeed in selling based on value and quality, rather than price.
The salary package is negotiable based on your sales experience and business relationships.
